Contract Instrument Codes

The ASSIST system provides a new ASSIST PIID Numbering service that will pro

vision a unique PIID to a requesting system that calls the service and provides a valid AAC and Instrument Code as inputs. Essentially, the PIID is a unique number that can be assigned to a procurement artifact, such as an award document or solicitation document.
