Generac brand is known for being overdependent on complicated communication

setup's to run correctly. I work on the large Gen sets, so this day and age, brushes aren't a part of the genset's any more. If your model does have them, check it out. It's odd to hear brushes on a modern gen set. But Generac has some famously low quality. Good luck OP.
