post we are going to enable Client push through SCCM which will install SCCM client to all systems. Once Client is installed, they can communicate with SCCM Server to get the policies for deploying applications, patches & other stuff.

Once you initiated the Client push installation from SCCM console( right cli

To find the correct port that would make it work I manually enabled all the

ports using the RPC Service on the client machine. And voila !! I could connect to the WMI on the client machine remotely.

None of the usual stuff seemed to fix it. When I tried aggressively reinstal

ling the client, CcmSetup would quickly encounter error: 0x87d00227. No amount of restarts, repairs, or WMI repo resets would fix it. It turns out this code translates to "Functionality disabled", though that isn't particularly helpful in this situation.

The Client Installation account needs to have Administrative permissions on

the target (client). Remote administration needs to be enabled on the client so the SCCM server can connect to the ADMIN$ share on the target. To set the Client Installation account go to the Configuration Manager console. Go to the Administration section.
